Hello world!

Hi, my name is Will! A Power Platform developer that has been working in the tech industry since 2021, while pursuing my Bachelor’s of Computer Science at the University of New Brunswick.

I first started at the Communications Research Centre (CRC), where I worked as a computer research student. I worked on various projects ranging from database modernization, data analysis, and cloud development. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the CRC and I’m forever grateful for the experience I gained. However, due to the CRC returning to office (based in Ottawa, ON), I had to remain in Fredericton to continue my studies.

I remember sending a cold-email to a manager at Environment Canada during Fall 2022. To my surprise, they replied! So, since January 2023, I’ve been employed by Environment Canada, working with the Power Platform.

Since then, I’ve learned so much about the Power Platform! Contributed to over 5 Power Platform solutions that have been deployed to production. I’m enthusiastic about creating Power Platform solutions that help others save time and resources.

I don’t know exactly what I’m going to write about on this blog, but I think I’ll start with writing about Power Platform tips I learned over the last two and a half years, so stay tuned!
