Hiring Approval Automation

This solution was developed to automate the hiring request and approval process for a division within Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC). The system enables Managers, Directors, and senior leadership to submit hiring details through a centralized SharePoint list, triggering a structured approval workflow built with Power Automate.

The flows were designed to handle complex data validation, transformation, and routing logic—all while staying efficient enough to operate within Power Automate licensing limits. Special attention was given to minimizing flow actions and optimizing performance across multiple approval stages.

As a co-developer, I was responsible for designing and implementing several key flows within the system. This included advanced data manipulation and troubleshooting across dynamic approval paths.

The solution significantly reduced manual effort, email coordination, and processing delays. This streamlined the hiring workflow and saved valuable time across the division.
